How We Differ...
Many school recording services would offer a free recording session, however to access the finished recordings, you would be expected to buy a minimum number of CDs. As the CD format becoming extinct, but you may struggle to recoup the costs.
With Audiobox, you pay a one time fee for the process, with the finished project delivered in a digital format on USB stick or file transfer. This means that you can do whatever you want with the recordings, whether that is using them on your school website, social media or producing CDs (a process we can also help with!)

All we need is a room away from background noise to set up our mobile studio and acoustic treatment, then your best singers or instrumentalists can perform their favourite songs to a backing track. Each student would get three "takes" which would then be compiled into one master track, edited and corrected as necessary, then mixed to sound like a real pro!
Our basic karaoke style packages would allow up to 10 students to have a go at showing their talents, over the space of a day.

Using our mobile recording rig, we can record the band either live or by recording each instrument one at a time (overdubs) to create a unique recording of their talents.
After a recording session of up to 8 hours, we will take the recordings away to be mixed and edited and deliver a professionally mixed and mastered recording.
We can also help out with prepping the recordings for CD duplication as well as artwork for the finished product. Whether you want to sell a CD to parents, release the songs on Spotify or just have a great memory for your students, this is a fantastic way to showcase the musical talent at your school
Bringing a school together to sing is a fantastic way to raise confidence and spirits!
By setting up a recording session for a small choir, year group or even an entire school, you will give the school something to be proud of.
The added bonus is that when the children take to a bigger stage, the sound of their singing won't be lost: Nick has engineered big, live stages such the Andover Christmas festival and getting the voices of the children to stand out on a big stage is always a challenge. With a recorded track for the children to perform too, those voices will always be heard as they will already be on the recording.
We can also provide stems of the session for a live engineer to use on a big stage. This allows an engineer to play back separate recordings simultaneously eg piano, choir, metronome and control the levels of each on a large stage.

Over a series of workshops, the students create lyrics and music for an original school anthem. Whether they want it to be a rap, a pop song, heavy metal or even a country ballad, we will work together to produce an original song which they can all be a part of.
You may already have a school anthem so why not get the students to bring it up to date in a style they all agree upon? We can record their new take and produce it ready for use on your school website or social channels.

On two separate occasions, students from GM Primary school were invited to record their performances. Although they were initially recorded at Amersham College, the technology used was virtually identical to the mobile facilities we offer.
The projects required the instrumental students (drums / bass / guitar etc) to record their parts for the other children to sing too, a process called overdubbing. We started by taking the performances, editing and correcting them and adding synth parts and additional instrumentation to recreate the songs the children had chosen.
Following this, the songs were mixed, mastered and transferred to CD for duplication.
